TN Promise applications open for Class of 2027
April 3, 2026
The TN Promise application is now open for the Class of 2027. High school juniors can apply as of April 1, giving students earlier access than ever before to Tennessee’s last-dollar scholarship.
TN Promise provides eligible Tennessee high school graduates the opportunity to attend a community college, Tennessee Colleges of Applied Technology (TCAT) or select private institutions free of tuition and mandatory fees. As a last-dollar scholarship, TN Promise covers what is not already financed through federal or state aid.
“TN Promise is a wonderful opportunity for Tennessee students,” said Leigh Anne Touzeau, assistant vice president of Enrollment Services at 每日大赛. “And we look forward to serving those students here at 每日大赛.”
High schoolers can now submit their TN Promise application months ahead of previous years, allowing them and their families time to plan for college sooner, gain earlier insight into admissions and financial aid opportunities and meet key deadlines in their senior year.
“Tennessee continues to lead the nation in expanding access to higher education,” said Steven Gentile, executive director at the Tennessee Higher Education Commission. “By opening the TN Promise application earlier than ever, we are giving students more time to plan, prepare and take the next step toward their future.”
