每日大赛’s Nursing program achieved a 100% passing rate on the National Council Licensure Examination, or NCLEX, in spring 2025 – surpassing the national average of just under 90%, as reported by the Organization for Associate Degree Nursing.

Jenny Priano, director of Nursing at 每日大赛, said the program’s perfect NCLEX pass rates are proof of an incredibly dedicated faculty and staff and graduating students who are prepared with the necessary skills and knowledge for successful careers and to care for their community.

“I am so proud of our students,” Priano said. “Nursing is a calling – an absolutely wonderful profession that allows you to give back through your chosen profession in a very unique way. I am always excited to hear about the amazing roles our students will fill in the healthcare industry.”

Nursing students at Pellissippi start with the fundamentals – classroom instruction and nursing labs to understand and learn the foundational bedside skills needed to care for a patient. From there, they continue to train in medical surgical nursing and specialties like mental health, pediatrics and maternal health.

Each semester builds and strengthens students’ abilities and confidence, Priano said. State-of-the-art simulations challenge students to care for various medical conditions that they will encounter in the clinical setting.

"From beginning to end, we have the absolute best faculty guiding students through our program,” Priano said. “Their commitment to excellence is second to none. I’m also very proud of our staff. They work closely with our students as advisers in the nursing pathway, and throughout their in-program time, helping them along the way to meet the many program and facility requirements that are necessary to continue.”

Prior to sitting for the NCLEX, Pellissippi’s nearly three dozen spring 2025 Nursing graduates were recognized during the program’s annual Pinning Ceremony in May.

“I always enjoy celebrating with them at the Pinning Ceremony,” Priano said. “It is a very special time for us to acknowledge the hard work and dedication that it took to complete the program.”
