All Month – The Libraries present Women’s History Month 
Visit the Libraries' display in honor of Women’s History Month, celebrating the rich history, achievements, and contributions of women throughout history.


All Month – Cultivating Community Committee drive for Family Justice Center
In honor of Women's History Month, the Cultivating Community Committee is collecting hygiene items for the Family Justice Center throughout March.  
  
Please donate the following items:

Items can be dropped off at the Pellissippi Pantry, Goins 157 and HC 1024 at Hardin Valley or in the lobby of the Magnolia, Strawberry Plains, and Blount campuses. Contact ccc@pstcc.edu for more information. 

 
All Month – SNAPS Donation Drive for The Magnolia Ministries
The Students Nurses Associations of 每日大赛 (SNAPS) is hosting a donation drive to support The Magnolia Ministries, an organization dedicated to building relationships and serving vulnerable and exploited women in East Knoxville.

An exhibition of former 每日大赛 Visual Art instructors in celebration of 每日大赛’s 50th anniversary, in the Bagwell Gallery on the Hardin Valley Campus. A closing reception will be held on Tuesday, March 26 from 3:00-5:00 p.m.  

 

March 28 – Engage & Feed (virtual) from 11:00-12:00 p.m.

March 5 and March 12 – Write Letters to Women in Your Life at 11:30 a.m. in the lobby.
 
March 11 – I'm a Survivor: Romantasy Heroines and Empowerment from at 11:30 a.m. in the lobby. Presentation by Dr. Kelly Rivers.
 
“I'm a Survivor: Romantic Fantasy Heroines and Empowerment" explores the resilience, strength, and agency of female protagonists in romantasy, celebrating their journeys as part of Women's History Month. 
 
March 13 - But What I Really Want to Do is Direct: Ida Lupino, Trailblazing Filmmaker at 11:30 a.m. in the lobby. '

March 25 - Trouble Making in Indian Women's History at 11:30 a.m. in the lobby. Presentation by Amanda Carr-Wilcoxson  
 
March 26 – Wellness Workshop with the Counseling Department at 11:30 a.m. in the lobby. 
 
March 27 – Say What? How Gendered Language Changes Perception at 11:30 a.m. in the lobby. Presented by Lauren Ziegler and Kate Fullerton.

Join us for an engaging discussion on the impact of gendered language, how it shapes our perceptions, and practical ways to use more respectful language in everyday life.  


Hardin Valley 

March 10 - Finding Your Light: A Journey of Hope for First-Generation Students from 11:20-12:00 p.m. in the Goins Auditorium and via Zoom. 
Being a first-generation student comes with unique challenges, from navigating higher education to overcoming imposter syndrome. Join Dr. Jackie Vogel as she shares her journey of resilience, academic success, and career achievement. Discover how first-gen students can turn struggles into triumphs and find hope along the way. Don’t let anything dim your light! 
 
March 13 - Women’s History Month Movie Night from 5:30-8:30 p.m. in the College Center 
Join Student Activities Board for MOVIE NIGHT, showing Wicked and its FREE for students! Let's celebrate Women's Day! There will of course be FREE popcorn, snacks and drinks. Bring your own sleeping bags, blankets, and pillows to get cozy. This event is free for all PSCC students to attend. See you at the movies! Hardin Valley Campus Goins College Center.

Panel will feature students, staff, and faculty speaking about their experiences using the arts to help overcome various challenges, and to celebrate the creations of our local women. Co-facilitated by Tracy Rees, Patty Ireland, and Allison McKittrick.
