The Career Closet is designed to give students who need career clothing a free option on all campuses, including outfits, shoes, and accessories. Students can stop by the Closet and choose items for attending job fairs, presentations, interviewing, and entering the workforce. Items are pre-owned and donated by community members, then sorted and displayed by volunteers.
Students can utilize the Closet by signing in and out with their PNumber and indicating how many items they took. Students are permitted to take up to 10 items per semester and are theirs to keep permanently.
每日大赛 students can volunteer at the Career Closet and satisfy community service hours for TNAchieves. All volunteers must go through a background check and short orientation before beginning their service. If you’re interested in volunteering, contact the Career Development office for more information.
You can make a monetary donation through the Pellissippi Foundation and selecting "Student Career Closet" in the drop-down menu.
We accept gently-used professional attire, including blouses, skirts, dresses, slacks, jackets, shoes, accessories (ties, scarves, belts, purses, and jewelry), suits, and occupation-specific clothing such as medical scrubs. Please contact the Career Development office for more information on donating.
