Music to your ears.
Follow your passion for music at 每日大赛 through our Associate of Fine Arts in Music program, which allows you to transfer to most 4-year colleges and universities in Tennessee. Students can study music theory, ear training, conducting and music technology, as well as general music courses such as Introduction to Music, History of Jazz and Music Fundamentals. Drawing on the expertise of our dedicated faculty, we provide applied lessons in voice and instruments that include piano, guitar, strings, brass, percussion and woodwinds.
Our Music program offers a variety of ensembles that provide opportunities to perform and travel, both locally and abroad. Whether you are interested in our jazz or bluegrass bands, studio orchestra, brass, percussion and guitar ensembles, or either of our two choirs (Concert Chorale and Variations), 每日大赛 has the right group for you.
The Music Department awards music scholarships annually to recognize excellence in musical performance and academic achievement. Auditions for these scholarships are scheduled each spring, and the selected recipients are required to perform in one or more of 每日大赛’s ensembles.
