Physics A.S.

This pathway prepares students for a bachelor’s degree in physics, engineering, astronomy, mathematics, or other STEM disciplines by equipping them with a strong foundation in classical mechanics, electricity and magnetism, calculus-based problem solving, data analysis, and experimental design, along with hands-on experience in laboratory investigation and scientific research.

Typical job opportunities: research scientist, laboratory technician, engineer (mechanical, electrical, aerospace, or systems), data analyst or data scientist, software developer, quantitative analyst, medical physicist, radiological technologist, high school physics teacher, and science or technical writer.
