If you want to work in the legal field, then consider 每日大赛’s Paralegal Studies program. This program prepares students for a paralegal position by equipping them to assist in substantive tasks such as gathering facts for trial preparation, drafting legal documents, and conducting legal research.  Graduates will be prepared to:

  1. Apply ethical rules of attorneys and paralegals to given legal work environment situations.
  2. Produce examples of legal communication.
  3. Apply legal concepts to factual situations necessary to perform substantive legal work under the supervision of an attorney.
  4. Demonstrate legal and factual research using traditional and computerized legal research methods.
  5. Demonstrate an understanding of the technology necessary to meet employer needs in the legal community.

Graduates are eligible to sit for the certification exam by the National Association of Legal Assistants.

Typical job opportunities: private law firms, state or federal government offices, in-house, legal aid, and nonprofit organizations.  Paralegals may not provide legal services directly to the public, except as permitted by law.

Our professionally experienced faculty take a practical, hands-on approach to give you a real-world understanding of the legal field.  The Paralegal Studies program offers both in-person and online (remote synchronous and asynchronous) classes.  Students can complete the program 100% online by attending either full-time or part-time.  Students must complete at least nine semester credits or the equivalent of legal specialty courses through synchronous instruction.
