Students are shown the tools & techniques needed to build a foundation for nearly any photo career. Exposure, focus, composition, timing, posing, lighting, editing, and visual storytelling are among the skills developed. Learning these core skill sets allows the aspiring photographer to be able to express themselves more creatively and communicate more effectively through their photography.
We incorporate industry-standard tools into instruction, like Adobe Photoshop® and Lightroom®, professional cameras, lenses, lighting and a fully equipped photography studio. Our faculty include experienced professionals who can give first-hand insight into the industry.
Typical job opportunities in photography: Corporate/industrial, wedding/event, portrait, commercial, editorial, advertising, PR, social media, architectural/real estate and photojournalism.
