Certificates

The Electronic Health Records certificate focuses on the security, completeness and accuracy of patient data and expands a student’s skill set to make them a valuable asset to their employers in the healthcare field. Classroom instruction includes MS Office skills and the use of electronic healthcare software.

The Medical Insurance Coding and Reimbursement certificate prepares individuals for employment in medical coding, insurance, and healthcare claim processing. Classroom instruction includes use of CPT, ICD, and HCPCS coding processes, as well as the processing of medical insurance claims and medical billing procedures.
