Geoscientists work with the Earth’s resources: minerals, soils, fossils, the atmosphere, and much more. This growing field can lead you to a career in environmental consulting, mining, energy systems. The Geosciences pathway provides students with the foundational courses to prepare them for transfer to a four-year institution for a bachelor's degree in geology or earth science. Job opportunities are varied and include geologists, hydrogeologists, GIS specialists, and oceanographers who analyze natural resources and hazards.
